His Industries works in more than 40 countries and operates in various industries, including consumer goods, automotive, and electronics. The business became one of the biggest General Motors agencies worldwide after being the first to offer automakers' automobiles to Kuwait. His Industries holds present-day agencies for Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Siemens, Nokia, IBM, Dell, Daewoo, Compaq, and Philips.

In 2023, he was admitted to the Pontifical Order of Saint Sylvester as a reward for his excellent efforts throughout the Arab world.

He resides with his loving wife in Lloyd Harbor, close to New York City. The community of Lloyd Harbor is found in the American state of New York's Suffolk County, specifically in the town of Huntington. It is about 40 miles east of New York City on Long Island's north shore. The village is home to about 3,500 people and is about 10 square miles in size.

Many of Lloyd Harbor's most well-known features are large estates and mansions, a historic lighthouse, and gorgeous sights of the Long Island Sound. Caumsett State Park, spanning over 1,500 acres and featuring many trails, beaches, and a nature preserve, is situated in the village. Taking the opportunity, Kutayba created the plan to win U.S. support for Kuwait's freedom. One of these cases involved putting Kuwait's officials in touch with one of the leading American PR companies. He was well aware that without the hearts and minds of the American people, the U.S. government could not support anything, not even a just cause. By appealing to the feelings of the American people, he convinced those around him to begin a strong P.R. campaign.

As part of this plan, Kuwait was able to present its situation to the outside world more effectively. He simultaneously reached out to everyone in his personal network, using his power to convince the American private sector to support Kuwait's independence.

He became free on February 26, 1991, thanks to one of the biggest coalitions in history, headed by the United States. He reflects on this occasion with great pride and satisfaction in what he and his fellow citizens achieved.

Looking to the Future

As the chairman of Alghanim Industries, he is in charge of developing the growth plan and vision for one of the biggest privately held businesses in the area.

For these kids to get excellent schooling and form lasting connections outside of their new home, Kutayba demanded that they attend schools with other locals.
