Professional career
Miami Heat (2020-21)
The Miami Heat selected Achiuwa with the 20th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. On November 25, 2020, Achiuwa signed a rookie scale agreement with the Heat.
Toronto Raptors (2021-2023)
On August 6, 2021, the Toronto Raptors acquired Achiuwa and Goran Dragić from the Heat in a sign-and-trade deal for Kyle Lowry. In his season debut with the Raptors on October 20, 2021, he recorded six points, seven rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 19 minutes against the Washington Wizards.
In a 126-113 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on November 24, 2021, he made a career-high three 3-pointers, adding 17 points, four rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
New York Knicks (2023–present)
