On October 8, 1993, Wallace was born in Mobile, Alabama and grew up in Concord, North Carolina. Bubba Wallace parents were Darrell Wallace Sr. and Desiree Wallace. His mother is a social worker who used to run track at the University of Tennessee, and his father owns an industrial cleaning business. Early on, he began racing, and by the time he was a teenager, he was competing professionally. At the age of nine, Wallace started competing in local late model races and the Bandolero and Legends car racing series.
