Jay Leno Brought His Own Fire Truck to Serve Food to First Responders Battling Deadly LA Fires

Thousands of acres have been destroyed by the flames in Los Angeles, destroying homes and leaving many communities in ruins. Jay Leno, 74, a former late-night star, has been using his old fire truck to take lunch to firefighters.

He claimed the catastrophe as one of the worst he had ever seen. Jamie Lee Curtis, an actress, also indicated her sorrow, likening the damage to a battlefield. Both encouraged the community's strength and claimed hope despite the tragedy.

Jay Leno Supports Firefighters

Throughout the flames in Los Angeles, the 74-year-old former late-night anchor has been utilizing his fire truck to transport relief workers to meal stations. In an unexpected interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper on Monday, Leno explained the disaster assistance he gives to individuals working nonstop to control the fires.

"It's good to have your own fire truck when you reside in LA," Leno criticized Anderson, 57, as he "pushed a 1941 American LaFrance fire truck" to help with the projected 70 mph winds between Tuesday, January 14, and Wednesday, January 15.

Leno Highlights Community Spirit

Jay Leno was seen operating a vintage fire engine from his garage in Burbank, California. "It's unimaginable. It's the largest natural disaster—not that 9/11 was one, but it's on par with that size," Leno going on. There are 10,000 houses there. You wouldn't be able to see 10,000 buildings if you spent your entire day driving.

It "looks like Hiroshima," the author claimed, saying that while he is encouraged by the spirit of bonding he has seen, "it's a shame that a wildfire is what it requires."

Leno stated, "I try to see the positive side of things." 9/11 was the last event I can recall. Everyone set behind their political views for three or four days, making a sense of camaraderie. This is taking place currently.

Celebrities React to Fire Destruction

"A whole city has been ruined," Leno claimed. "The Pacific Palisades are missing and likely won't be for the next four to five years. I'm not sure how you will recover from this. He said, "But we'll get through it," knowing the City of Angels. We usually do.

Jamie Lee Curtis also expressed his opinions about the status of Los Angeles, drawing connections between the city's neighbourhoods damaged by fire and Middle Eastern nations destroyed by conflict.

The actress, 66, claimed in a Q&A for "The Last Showgirl" posted on X, "The entire Pacific Palisades looks like, you know, unluckily, Gaza or one of these war-torn countries where awful things have gone."

Curtis Speaks on Fire Tragedy

The "Freaky Friday" star assisted from crying a few days before when discussing the "catastrophe" of the Palisades Fire that destroyed the coastal community where she has lived decades of her life.

"As you are aware, my house is right now on fire. The whole Pacific Palisades city is literally on fire. Last night, I took a flight here. I started receiving texts when I was in the air. Curtis stated, "Its f–king gnarly, you guys," when he performed on Jimmy Fallon's show.

"Southern California is facing a catastrophe. There have certainly been horrible fires in multiple locations. This is my exact residence. Everything.
