In a recent talk on ESPN with Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, he opens up about the conclusive end of his NBA career. He sincerely added that he is at the peak of his career, standing out among other players in the 16th NBA season.

Still, he acknowledges that his career end is approaching soon. He is the person who strongly believes in living in the moment. He vocalized his thoughts that when it's his career's end, he will acknowledge and accept the fact.

"I think, you know, it's okay to accept and acknowledge that the end is near, whatever point. But only because it allows you to enjoy what's happening right now. But I think the more you talk about it, the more you acknowledge it; it levels up just the sense of urgency of the moment now."

He further added to his talk that he doesn't know what the NBA future holds for him or how many seasons are left for him to play, but he is adamant on winning.

Curry Mentioned Draymond Green

Stephen Curry, in his one-on-one interaction with ESPN, mentioned his Warriors teammate Draymond Green, a basketball power forward. He opened up about accepting that he and Draymond are at the pinnacle professionally.

"It is a matter of acknowledging like, okay, me and [Warriors teammate] Draymond [Green] are in our prime. We're, you know, in a situation where you have to kind of think about the game a little differently. But if you're not winning, the answer is, like, 'How do we make this happen for me?'

Curry's NBA Legacy

Stephen Curry is one of the most recognizable NBA players. He has been a key part of the Warriors' recent success. Curry led his team to three NBA titles in four seasons and made it win its fourth NBA title in 2022.

Adding to Curry’s achievements, Stephen Curry is a two-time league MVP and a 10-time NBA All-Star. Whenever he retires from the NBA, he will surely leave an impressive legacy behind him for future players to follow.

The Warriors' Current Season

The Warriors got off to a strong start this 2025-25 season with a 12-3 record. They enter their Christmas Day matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers with a 15-13 record, earning them an eighth spot in the Western Conference.

What's Next for the Warriors?

The Warriors failed to make the playoffs last season. Curry and his teammates are looking forward to avoiding the same fate this season. That’s why they have all eyes on the February trade deadline, which could be crucial for the Warriors' playoff hopes.
