Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum

The Faisal bin Qassim Museum was founded in 1998 and houses more than 15,000 artifacts, from the Jurassic period to the present, from the museum's exceptional collection. A typical Syrian house brought in from Damascus and rebuilt is on display at the museum. It is completely furnished and features two living areas with exquisite tile, latticework, and a courtyard. 

 Two of the model homes in Qatar represent Sheikh Faisal's residence. This deeply individualized collection showcases the founder's particular preferences and hobbies as well as a life full of experiences.

The FBQ Museum is divided into various areas. Two noteworthy rooms are the Quran room, which has a sizable collection of Qurans, and the Kiswah, the cloth that covers the Ka'aba, the holiest place in Islam. An automobile museum has over 600 vintage vehicles, including trucks, convertibles, and steam cars, while over 700 carpets display global weaves, colors, and patterns. 

 A clothes hall features apparel and accessories from throughout the area, complemented by a selection of vintage furniture and musical instruments. The walls are crammed with pictures and artwork.
