Tony Hawk was born on May 12, 1968, in the sunny city of San Diego, California. His given name was Anthony Frank Hawk. He hails from a family of four, including his parents, Frank Peter Rupert Hawk, three brothers, and himself. Hawk's older sibling gifted him his first skateboard at age eight and patiently taught him how to ride it.
